"Mentoring with CPY has been one of the greatest
experiences of my life. I was given the opportunity to guide a young
person through a tumultuous period, to have a positive impact on my
community, and to meet some wonderful new friends. I would recommend
anyone to take part in this dynamic program."

COMMITTED PARTNERS FOR YOUTH
BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF LANE COUNTY
CPY-BBBS is a non-profit mentoring agency servicing youth-in-need in the Eugene/Springfield community. We serve youth (ages 6 to 17) through our partnerships with Eugene/Springfield elementary schools, middle schools, social services agencies and the juvenile court system.
CPY was founded in 1991 by a local mother and psychologist, Llew Wells, after struggling for many years with the challenges facing her own son and daughter. She knew in her heart that a mentor could have made a huge difference in their lives. With the help of others, she made it her mission to create this unique local program in order to help other children in need. This past year CPY and Big Brothers Big Sisters join forces in order to serve more youth in Lane County.
